Upgrade/Downgrade Paths
Due to the different technologies it is sometimes difficult to understand what type of service you have and what plan you can change to. There are two types of service upgrade:
- Standard Change - This occurs when you need to change plans in the same service type. For example, going from Home ADSL Max 1 to Home ADSL Max 2, or Home Max 1 to Business Max 1. Standard changes can usually occur within a day.
- Complex Change - This occurs when you need to change plans of a different service type. For example, going from Home ADSL Max 1 to Home Naked 1. Complex changes are a new service installation will require you to commit to a new contract term or pay a setup fee.
Listed below are the upgrade types and the typical number of business days is takes to move you to the new plan type.

Complex Change Forms
Complex plan changes often involve the technical installation of a new service (i.e. physical telephone line change, move from Optus to Telstra network). Contract break fees and new setup fees may apply.
